4 Step Process:
This process is to be applied whenever there is a sense of feeling disconnected from Self. When we are disconnected from Self we are in some kind of Reaction. When we are in reaction we are operating from a false belief system installed/programmed into our subconscious mind and cellular memory during our early childhood experiences (conditioning process) ages 0-10. Examples of feeling disconnected from Self to look for that are perfect opportunities for the application of this process, to heal, transcend and reprogram our belief system are as follows:
Reaction: Anger, fear, sadness, frustration, feeling “off”, anxiety, panic, loneliness, longing etc.
Noticeable physical symptoms of feeling disconnected from Self are as follows:
Tired, tension in one or more areas of the body, shortness of breath, rise or drop in body temperature, apathy, lethargy, swollen extremities, headaches, nausea and spams.
Step 1: Identify that you are in Reaction.
STOP (Stop what you are doing, thinking, feeling or about to say) Trust the process you are in Open yourself up to healing Process your feelings. Start to breathe in and out of your diaphragm (This slows down the central nervous system and calms the reaction).
Step 2: Allow for the full experience of your emotions with compassion and non judgment.
Its a natural tendency to want to shake off the reaction or suppress/avoid it, and all that does is perpetuate more opportunities to experience these feelings. What you resist, persists. In order to fully heal an emotional pattern associated with your belief system is to feel it. The only way out is through and through means to accept the negative feeling with love.
Step 3: Engage your Awareness.
Scan your Imprints.
In this step the intensity of the reaction has already diminished significantly and now there is space to dis-identify with the reaction. The awareness that reactions are simply our past programming being triggered and essentially coming up for healing allows for us to recontextualize the reaction and see it as an opportunity for growth and integration. In this step it is important to scan our awareness to see what emotional imprint/feeling is being triggered- (where does this reaction come from?/ where did I learn this?/ is this masculine or feminine energy I am integrating? What am I afraid of?) Once a connection is made between the current reaction and conditioned response, the reaction is no longer necessary. It has served its purpose and a willingness to let go of the energy/feeling of the reaction begins to emerge. As we gain perspective in these moments of reactivity, we begin to realize that we are never reacting to the current circumstances – we are subconsciously creating the current circumstances and setting up the most favorable conditions to heal from our patterns, and create a new belief system.
Step 4. Align with your Higher Self.
Affirm and Breathe
Now that you have let go of your reactivity and are wiling to create your new belief system, please make sure your are still breathing in and out of your diaphragm and repeat the positive affirmation(s) that are directly related to the imprint discovered in assessing the reaction. This is not meant to be a mechanical process so feel free to improvise the affirming statements that will uplift and empower you to remember the Truth of who you really are. Statements such as “I am the Source of the Love I feel”, or I am at Peace with myself etc. are universal state changers that when declared with assurance and commitment; create a molecular shift in the cells , elevating one’s vibration and therefore creating new realities that are consistent with this state.
